With the recent announcement of the next four Championship Tour stops in Australia, it's going to be epic to see what the surfers can do in some fresh lineups, including Newcastle, Narrabeen and the mystery of Rottnest Island. It's been a couple months since anybody on the CT pulled on a jersey, but based on the edit World Number One John John Florence just dropped, the dude's ready to roll.
In this fresh YouTube cut, Florence and sparring partner Jack Robinson can be seen preparing for Australia by throwing themselves into below-sea-level, beachbreaks caverns on the North Shore. Reminiscent of something one may see on an autumn day on France -- minus the wetsuits -- the boys thread barrel after barrel with casual mastery.
So, should Oz pump, keep an eye on these two. Their beachbreak game is impeccable at the moment.
The action Down Under kicks off at the top of April, until then, watch and enjoy.
